The GBS Services to Independent Publishers Award
Nominations are open for the Services to Independent Publishers Award. This award will be presented to an individual or organisation and is open to all areas of the industry from booksellers to consultants to distributors, printers and beyond. It is supported by Grantham Book Services in tribute to its former client services manager Julie Nix, who worked for the company for 30 years before her death in 2007. She had been a great supporter of the work of independent publishers and was well known to many IPG members. There are many individuals and companies in the book business who go that extra mile to serve independent publishers in the UK and Ireland, and this award is a great way of highlighting their contributions.
How to nominate:
We encourage all our members to nominate individuals or organisations for the award. Submissions should be between 100 and 200 words in length and in common with the other IPG Independent Publishing Awards should be based on services and achievements in 2016 to UK and Irish independent publishers. Send your nomination by email to the IPG: firstname.lastname@example.org
