1 What's your company called?

ISD.

2 What services or products do you offer?

ISD imports, distributes, markets and sells scholarly and specialist books, ebooks and journals in North America.

3 How can you help IPG members?

We know a thing or two about selling academic content in the market here, particularly in the humanities, and about dealing with the major resellers.

4 What do you enjoy about working in publishing?

The colleagues, customers and clients who have become our friends.

5 What do you think is the single biggest opportunity and the single biggest threat for independent publishers right now?

The opportunity is operating in the niches; the threat is consolidation in the market.

6 What do you get out of belonging to the IPG?

Conversations with people and organisations who have the same outlook, issues and fun as we do.
