About the Job
Two exciting new opportunities have arisen at the award-winning Independent publisher Alma Books for a Marketing Executive and Editorial Assistant.
The candidate would need to run social media campaign including responsibility for tweeting and weekly online direct marketing campaigns, develop marketing material and presentations and be able to assist the sales team.
We are looking for a candidate with a proven experience (preferably one or two years’ experience) in publishing and/or social media, excellent IT skills (experience in Photoshop and other design packages preferable) and excellent organization and admin skills. An experience in children’s publishing is welcome but not essential.
The candidate will work closely with the marketing and editorial team ensuring that the print and online version of titles is to quality standards. He/She will be also involved in selling the rights of Alma’s eclectic list.
We are looking for a candidate with exceptional writing and proof-reading skills as well as a good eye for detail, proven ability to multitask projects and to work well under pressure, strong IT skills (experience in Photoshop and other design packages preferable) and exceptional communication skills.
