We’re looking for an entrepreneurial digital marketer who combines creativity with analysis – and has a track record of delivering results. You’ll be a driving force behind optimising and expanding the digital marketing for our authors and book series.
The initial focus will be Facebook advertising, email marketing and developing our humorous fiction imprint’s online presence – but we’re also looking for someone who will keep advancing our marketing – discovering and testing new ways of connecting our books with readers.
This is very much a hands-on role – you’ll be putting together ads and email campaigns, testing and analysing results to optimise what we do. There are also great opportunities for development – you’ll report directly to the Publisher and help us grow to scale.
You’ll be great at what you do – with experience of digital marketing and able to demonstrate a history of improving results. Your ability and what you’ve achieved is more important than the number of year’s experience you have.
We’re a small but expanding team, so you’ll need to be confident to work independently and ambitious to grow with the company as we move forward. We’re looking not only for great publishing talent, but for people who make a habit of improving the way things are done, who embrace change and who enjoy applying science and tech to creativity.
You’ll be based in our Richmond-upon-Thames office, although partial remote working will be considered. A good, competitive salary is on offer to match your level of experience.
Prelude Books is a new publisher of ebook-led fiction and print-led nonfiction. Our Farrago imprint is dedicated to series-based humorous fiction, while Prelude publishes smart thinking in psychology, pop science, history and memoir. We also represent The School of Life Press to the book trade.
