We are looking for a bright, highly efficient and well-organised Editorial Assistant to provide administrative and general support for Editorial Directors Angus Cargill and Louisa Joyner, whose lists include a wide range of fiction, including literary, crime and graphic novels, and some general non-fiction. The job will involve administrative backup (such as preparing papers for meetings, booking travel schedules, diary management, writing minutes, etc), communicating with authors, managing and reporting on submissions, drafting catalogue and jacket copy, and other duties as required.
You will need excellent literary skills, as well as first class communication, organisational, social media and IT skills. A keen eye for detail and an ability to prioritise are also essential. You will ideally have some previous relevant office experience.
This is a full-time permanent position.
We welcome applications from any individual regardless of ethnic origin, gender, disability, religious belief, sexual orientation or age. All applications will be considered on merit.
