The MIT Press are looking for a resourceful, energetic and enthusiastic intern to assist with publicity and marketing across their trade lists. The ideal candidate would be a recent graduate or someone in flexible full-time education who hopes to pursue a career in publicity or marketing within the publishing industry.
About the Role: This internship will require a hands-on approach to the publicity campaigns for our seasonal trade list across a wide range of subjects. You will be asked to help with media outreach and research, events planning and author care. On the marketing side there will be opportunities to assist the Marketing Manager with conference exhibits planning and direct mail campaign research. In a small team there are lots of opportunities to get stuck in, so you will find yourself on the frontline of our publicity and marketing operations!
