About the Job
We are looking for a Sales Representative to grow our market in Europe. This role will involve selling our list of digital products, books and journals. The successful candidate will work closely with the European Manager, Marketing, Editorial and Customer Support teams.
The role will be based in our Bridgwater, Somerset office and/or working from home within easy access of main international airports.
Competitive salary + bonus + company benefits package and car allowance.
Job description
∙ Selling and promoting new products and the backlist to existing and new customers ∙ Researching and finding new opportunities for direct sales to institutions and organisations ∙ Collaborating with the rest of the team to turn potential competitive advantages into new products and revenue∙ Being involved in projecting sales and strategic planning to achieve agreed business objectives ∙ Attending conferences and events where necessary ∙ Travelling throughout Europe to facilitate the above.
Person specification
The right candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience of working within an emergency medical supplies or publishing company, ideally with some experience of export sales or perhaps work as a paramedic would be ideal.
You will have a knowledge of and an interest in both print and digital publishing
Additional European language skills would be desirable
You will be self-motivated, with a customer-focused sales approach that is very much about developing and maintaining relationships to achieve agreed sales goals
